Do you have any idea regarding what to put into your resource box? Well you do know that you have to put in your name, Right? Okay, this may seem a little obvious, but a lot of people forget to put in either their name or the name of their business. You main reason for promoting articles is to create more credibility. So start with your name and then follow with a little information about what it is that you can do for your prospect and then a link to your landing page, website or blog. The resource box is what you will add at the end of your article. Why is the resource box important? The resource box may be small but this is the most powerful tool for article marketing. This is where you will promote yourself, your product and your website or blog. You want this as exciting as possible, a boring resource box will not get the job done. Make it fun and creative, show them who you are. Do not use your affiliate links if possible. Instead build yourself your own web site where you can have your affiliate links located. I believe your click through rates will be much higher. It will also be easier for you to give away something for free, a free email course, a free e-book, a free video, it could be just about anything. Your main intention is to get the click, so this is a great way to do it. There must be a call to action tell the reader what they will get if they take action and click. Here is also where you will want to tell them what to do, they are more likely to do it then if you just leave it up to them. It may sound silly but a majority of people will not do something unless you tell them what to do. Only have one call to action here, you don't want to confuse your readers with multiple offers. Another suggestion, the resource box can also be used to offer contact information like your phone number and email. However bear in mind that there are restrictions to the length of the box by the directory that you use. They usually only allow 3 to 6 lines and perhaps there are more important to things to put here. So keep it short and to the point. If you find a ezine that doesn't allow you to put a link to your web-site in your resource box, I would not even waste your time placing articles with them. You are giving them articles to use on their sites in exchange for you link to your opportunity. You can find good quality ezines that will take your articles, and remember to always fill out your resource box with the right information. Your article's should be similar to the theme in you resource box as well as in the same category you choose when placing your article. Your resource box is a great marketing tool to use some of these techniques that I have shown you here to get yourself some traffic to your web site.
