If you consume a tuna sandwich, the tuna is broken down and the amino acids (proteins) from it are used in your body for building muscle and creating new cells! Your physical appearance is a reflection of the food you consume, and when you ingest junk food you will observe that your skin looks worse and you look plumper than you do when you eat healthier foods. If you're truly interested in losing weight, you should look at your diet. When your diet is not very healthy, doing a lot of exercise won't help you. It's important that you include healthy and nutritious food in your diet. So, what should you add to your healthy diet that will accelerate weight loss? You want to reduce calories so you will slim down, but you don't want to starve yourself so much that you start bingeing in junk food. It's a good idea to make a gradual change in your eating habits by slowly including healthy food and decreasing the number of calories consumed. Slowly phase in healthy meals and take out snacks and meals one at a time. The most essential thing to add to your diet is protein. Protein is one of the primary building blocks of your body and is essential for many body functions including building muscle and cell repair. It is not hard to get sufficient protein by adding foods such as beef, chicken, pork, eggs, and soybean products to your diet. The second crucial food macronutrient you should include in your diet is carbohydrates. You have to be careful, however, not to consume a lot of carbohydrates any any unused energy created by them merely becomes fat. Go for foods including whole grain bread and brown rice for your carbs needs. And don't forget, you also should add fat fat in your diet plan. Yes, although you're trying to lose weight and excess fat, your body still needs dietary fats. Go for healthy fats that are in things such as walnuts and fish. And don't forget to ingest lots of fresh fruits and greens as your body needs the vitamins and minerals. See to it that you pay attention to foods you should not consume. Obviously, you should try cut down as much junk food as you can and you should consume healthy cuts of meat. Avoid simple carbs in bread and pasta products and opt for healthier whole grain alternatives. Do away with alcohol whenever feasible because it will not help you to get rid of excess pounds. Now you know the foods that you must and shouldn't include in your diet. Examine your normal eating habits and come up with some ways to make your meals more nutritious. Allow your belly to gradually get smaller by eating 5 or 6 small meals a day so that consuming big meals will no longer be a problem for you.
